Mike is in the fiberglass business now!
Actually, he is making parts for his big Mosquito project!
Labor intensive, but very nice craftsmanship!

Uh-Oh....   Looks like that big Edge 540 project has competition!  Seems that a 104" Laser 200 fell out of Santa's bag during his Christmas Eve visit to one of our member's workshops....
Projects, Projects, Projects..... What's a modeler to do?  😉

Building season is upon us, folks!  Jim is back at the bench for the winter.  Starting to look a bit like a plane... Me thinks.                43% scale planes make a 10 foot long work bench look kind of short, don't they?  And this is without the engine, cowl and spinner!

Hatch/Cockpit area, Cowling, cutting out/hinging Ailerons, and installing control horns, are all that remain before covering and painting can begin...  Tail-feathers are already hinged.....

Thanks to the North Star Flyers for hosting their Fall Picnic Event.  Temps were in the mid thirties in the morning, warming to a little over 40 degrees after lunch, but we bundled up, flew all day, and had a great time!
Well, Jim's big 4.7 Meter Span ASW20 Sailplane Finally Flew!  Here it is, back on the ground in one piece, after its maiden voyage.
